Our commercial kitchen is Capital Kitchen, located at 1606 W. Stassney Ln #1 Austin, TX 78745. All visits to the location are by appointment only. Please call Chef jacque' 830-456-1174 to schedule a time to come by.
What is your fee for tastings?
Tastings are by appointment only. The charge is $50/couple (seating is limited to 4), this fee is to cover the chef labor & food for tasting and is held at our location.
What is the deposit amount for events?
A $500.00 non-refundable deposit for weddings and larger events to secure event date. A menu is not needed to book your event, the most important thing is to secure the date, "details" can be added at a later time. For small events, 50% deposit.
When will you need a final guest count?
Pertains to parties over 10. Guest counts are required 10 days prior to the event. This is so we can plan for food orders and staffing. We can generally add a few guests after the 10 day period if needed, but we can not go down on the count.
What does the service charge cover?
Although this charge is an industry standard, we still want to explain our production fee or service charge. Depending on the size and “details” of your event, there are a couple of days or even weeks of work and a team of professionals that are involved in an event that the client never sees. This includes menu creation, purchasing and stocking raw ingredients, kitchen prep, planning, packing loading & unloading of necessary event equipment, administrative, and vehicle expenses. 20% is added to all events.
